Your new companyOur client is a leading full-service law firm which is continuing to grow significantly through a period of success. They are recognised as a Top 45 law firm and a top UK employer with an emphasis on employee growth and development. The firm is currently looking to expand their Manchester and Liverpool Large Loss teams and is recruiting for 2+ PQE solicitors or chartered legal executives. Your new roleThis Large Loss Lawyer role will see you handle your own caseload of defendant catastrophic and high-value personal injury cases whilst also assisting a Partner on more complex issues. Files will include brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations and chronic pain. There is the opportunity to handle files valued up to £500,000 in your own name and assisting on multi-million claims. This role will see you liaise with clients, opponents, courts and witnesses whilst also conducting your own liability investigations. What you'll need to succeedYou must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with 2+ years PQE. Previous experience handling your own litigated caseload of defendant personal injury cases is essential. Complex, high-value personal injury experience is also required. Successful applicants will have strong academics, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have a real interest in this area of law, with plans to develop your career in a well-run firm.
