This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with litigated experience in housing disrepair cases, seeking to further develop their career in a challenging and rewarding environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee litigated housing disrepair claims from inception to resolution
- Draft legal documents including claims, allocations, and other necessary correspondence
- Provide expert legal advice and support to clients throughout the litigation process
- Work closely with clients, experts, and external parties to ensure smooth case progression
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, and pre-trial discussions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, while managing risks and advising on the best course of action
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Essential - Litigation experience / preferably in HDR
- Must be a qualified solicitor or barrister
- Excellent drafting skills, particularly in the preparation of claims and allocation documents
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex legal cases
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
