A well known law firm in Bolton is looking for a talented Practice Manager to join their head office team. The successful work closely with the firm’s Partners and Central Managers, playing a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s future.Why This Role Stands Out:- Collaborative Environment: Join a friendly and busy office where teamwork and mutual support are paramount.- Strategic Influence: Work directly with the firm’s leadership to develop and implement strategic business, financial, marketing, and HR plans.- Diverse Responsibilities: Engage in a variety of tasks, from managing supplier contracts to overseeing compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations.- Professional Growth: Enhance your skills by managing complex projects, including M&A initiatives, and contributing to the firm’s operational management.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Partners to develop and execute the firm’s strategy and business plans.- Implement financial plans in conjunction with the Accounts Manager and Finance Partner.- Support Department Heads in preparing business plans and budgets.- Manage and deliver projects through central management teams.- Develop and implement marketing and HR plans with relevant managers.- Ensure compliance with SRA Standards and maintain risk management and quality control systems.- Oversee IT plans with the IT Director and manage annual audits for various accreditations.- Handle operational management - Manage supplier contracts and insurances through brokers and advisers.Skills and Experience Required:- Proven leadership and management abilities within a legal environment.- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work under pressure.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex issues.- A team player who can gain the confidence of Partners and staff.- Relevant management degree or equivalent qualification.- Experience with LEXCEL Accreditation and officer roles such as COFA, MLRO, DPO, or SRO is preferable.This role is perfect for a seasoned professional ready to take on a challenging and rewarding position.
