My client is seeking to recruit a diligent, confident, self-motivated, solicitor to join their rapidly growing Manchester litigation department. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical knowledge, as well as a pro-active approach to risk management. Client care is a priority, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide exception quality service to the client. We are looking for candidate who keen to progress and grow within the department. Career development opportunities are available to the right candidate.

This role will involve assisting the Partner, so the ability to work independently within the protocols of the firm / SRA is vital.

Essential skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation.
  • Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment.
  • Proven experience of running own case load.
  • Proven experience of maintaining client relationships

Essential Experience

  • Mortgage Possession claims.
  • Debt recovery.
  • Commercial Litigation.

Preferred Experience

  • Receivership/Insolvency work
  • Landlord and Tenant work
  • Property Finance work
