Covering a period of sickness leave, it is anticipated that the successful Family Solicitor will be with the firm for a period of at least 3 months, providing professional locum cover across the existing caseload, and also dealing with any new enquiries during this time. The caseload is a mixture of privately funded matters and legal aid cases and includes divorce, finances and children matters. Hybrid working could be considered for the right candidate. THE CANDIDATE:This role is well suited to a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 5 years PQE in family law practice. This experience should ideally include exposure to privately funded and legal aid cases employment law would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be given.A good understanding of priorities and meticulous attention to detail will enable you to provide excellent levels of client care across the client base. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and your enviable skills will allow you to quickly become a key member of this team. The appointed legal professional will be self-driven and compassionate, with the ability to support the team effectively and confidently.
