The firm is looking to expand its private client team with the addition of a newly qualified solicitor. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to join a dynamic team and make an impact in a supportive, collaborative environment.Role Overview:As a Newly Qualified Private Client Solicitor, you will provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of private client matters, including Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate Administration, and Powers of Attorney. You will work closely with senior colleagues, learning from their extensive expertise while managing your own caseload. The role will offer you significant exposure to a diverse range of high-net-worth clients and complex matters.Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a variety of private client matters, including estate planning, inheritance tax, probate, and trust administration.
- Draft Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trust documents.
- Manage and administer estates, including dealing with the administration of estates, inheritance tax returns, and obtaining Grants of Probate.
- Build and maintain client relationships, providing high-quality advice in a clear and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues and other departments as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist with the development of new business opportunities and maintain professional knowledge through continuous learning.
- Provide a high standard of client care and adhere to the firm's best practice and compliance policies
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor (England and Wales), ideally having completed your training contract with a focus on private client law.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of private client law, including probate, Wills, and trusts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting skills.
- A proactive and professional attitude, with a desire to further develop your legal career within a supportive environment.
