Private Client Solicitor or Partner

Opportunity to join a long established Greater Manchester law firms and work as part of a strong firm that have success across the board in both their commercial and personal service sectors. This role in particular will be to take on a senior role as a Head of Department / Partner within their highly successful Private Client team. This role can offer you:- An established team- Strong client base - Full Autonomy- True Flexibility The team you will be joining consists of 5 Fee Earners and is spread across 2 offices throughout Greater Manchester. This position can be based at any of their  North Manchester offices, so regardless of where you are based in they will be happy to accommodate with their hybrid working policy.Ideally you will be a Senior Solicitor with a minimum of 8 years' PQE and will either be at Partner level already or striving to gain Partnership. STEP qualification is a desired, not essential requirement for this role.This position will primarily focus on management and helping the department grow, whilst also working with your existing colleagues & client base to improve processes. The business is going through a highly successful period with all departments busier than ever, leading to a consistent increase in turnover & profit so this is an opportune time to join and be part of the growth. There will be less an emphasis placed on fee earning but there is a good mix of work in place to include complex probate & estate administration work and will see you deal with anything from basic probate matters right the way through to complex estates involving overseas properties & high value assets. Your client base will also be varied and see you deal with local clients as well as regional IFA's and accountants. Whilst a following isn't a prerequisite for this role, if you were to have a core client base that would 'follow' you then that would be a substantial positive.As a Partner you will be working with the existing management team and ensuring that team KPI's are achieved, new processes are implemented, recruitment is dealt with and client targets are achieved. Salary will be based on PQE but will likely be starting at £70,000 + a great Partner Benefits Scheme.
