This is a great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Negligence or Personal Injury lawyer looking for a new challenge away from fee earning. A leading law firm are seeking a Professional Development Lawyer to join their Knowledge Management team, supporting their litigation practice based in Manchester. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator who enjoys legal research, drafting and knowledge sharing.
As a Professional Development Lawyer, you will:
- Create and update precedents, practice notes and guidance materials.
- Assist fee earners with complex legal research and updates on key developments in clinical negligence and personal injury law.
- Organise and deliver internal training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the litigation team.
- Keep the team informed of legislative updates, case law developments and best practices.
- Contribute to innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement in the litigation practice.
What they are looking for:
- Strong experience and knowledge in clinical negligence and/or personal injury litigation.
- Excellent technical legal knowledge and drafting skills.
- Passion for legal knowledge management and professional development.
- Prior experience as a Professional Development Lawyer is desirable but not essential.
