A public sector organisation in Greater Manchester requires a Public and Regulatory Solicitor to join their team on a locum basis.

The client is seeking a candidate with previous regulatory experience, ideally gained within a public sector organisation. This an extremely interesting role and opportunities like this do not arise often!

The successful candidate will have previous legal experience and duties will include:

  • Conducting Legal research and investigations
  • Managing a caseload predominantly of Inquests but also mixed with ICO Appeals, Public Inquiries and HSE investigations and prosecutions
  • Providing advice and representation at court

The position is up to 12 months, covering maternity leave and ideally on a full-time basis. Candidates who are seeking a more flexible working pattern will also be considered. This role offers remote and agile working conditions, with some attendance at court and in the office as required.
