Senior Family SolicitorManchester /Hybrid Competitive SalaryAn esteemed law firm is looking for a Senior Family Solicitor (5+ years’ PQE) to join its dynamic Manchester office. With a strong focus on advocacy, complex divorce cases, and high-net-worth clients, this role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile matters and make a meaningful impact.The Role:
  • Managing a caseload of complex divorce, financial settlements, and private children law matters, often involving high-net-worth individuals, business assets, and international aspects.
  • Representing clients in contested financial and children’s proceedings, conducting advocacy in court.
  • Providing strategic advice to high-profile and high-net-worth clients, ensuring discretion and a commercially focused approach.
  • Collaborating with expert witnesses, forensic accountants, and barristers to build strong cases.
  • Mentoring and supervising junior solicitors and paralegals, fostering talent within the team.
  • Engaging in business development and networking, helping to maintain the firm’s reputation and high-calibre client base.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years’ PQE in family law, with substantial experience in high-value divorce and financial settlements.
  • Strong advocacy skills, with a track record of representing clients in contested hearings.
  • Proven ability to handle high-net-worth and complex cases with discretion and strategic acumen.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, combined with a commercially aware approach.
  • A proactive mindset, with a focus on business development and cultivating client relationships.
