The Role

As a Criminal Solicitor at Slater Heelis, you will be a key player in our Criminal Law Department, handling a wide range of complex criminal cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor to gain exposure to high-profile cases and contribute to the overall development of the department.

The role will include:

• Oversee a diverse caseload of criminal matters, including serious and high-profile cases.
• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients, ensuring high standards of client care and service.
• Represent clients in court, prepare and present cases, and manage all aspects of criminal proceedings.
• Assist in the growth of the Criminal Law Department through networking, marketing initiatives, and client relationship management.
• Stay updated on the latest legal developments in criminal law and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.

To be successful in applying for this role, you must possess excellent client care skills and you need to be technically strong with an eye for detail as the role heavily relies on data checking and inputting.
