CRP Group is working with a leading Automotive company that is currently recruiting a Quality Engineer. Tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems for a leading automotive production company. This role involves designing and enforcing quality control processes and standards to ensure that products and services meet stringent regulatory and industry requirements. A key responsibility will be implementing new quality systems, aimed at improving overall product quality and operational efficiency. The role also includes conducting final product inspections and hosting customer product acceptance visits, ensuring that all customer requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Planning: Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and methodologies to ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize workflows.
  • Testing and Inspection: Design and conduct tests and inspections of automotive products to assess quality and performance, documenting the results and taking corrective actions as needed.

The role also involves managing supplier quality. The Quality Engineer will evaluate the products or services supplied by third-party vendors to ensure they meet company standards. Collaboration with suppliers will be essential to resolve quality issues and drive improvements. The engineer will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks to product quality or performance, developing strategies to prevent defects, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality automotive components.

The Quality Engineer will also play a key role in fostering a culture of quality across the organisation. They will provide training and support to team members on quality assurance best practices, ensuring the successful integration of new quality systems. As the company evolves, additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.
