We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to oversee the final stages of a residential apartment scheme in Manchester. This is a freelance role for approx 12 weeks.

The ideal candidate will ensure all finishing works are completed to the highest standards, on schedule, and in line with project specifications. This includes overseeing the first floor reception and communal areas, ensuring they meet premium quality and design standards..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades
  • Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and building regulation standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and manage snag lists to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Work closely with the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
  • Resolve on-site issues efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finishing foreman on similar projects.
  • Strong eye for detail with the ability to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
