Your new companyRegulatory body, for the healthcare industry, are recruiting an administrator to support their legal team in progressing casework efficiently. Your new role

  • Supporting colleague in progressing legal casework
  • Creating and preparing large volumes of documents for hearings
  • Redacting sensitive information from documents
  • Making travel and accommodation bookings for the team
  • Making bookings for face to face and virtual meetings, ensuring any documents required are present
  • Handle court applications and orders
  • Take calls for the team, handling enquiries where possible and escalating where required.
  • Taking detailed notes from calls, liaising with external and internal parties
  • Updating records and correspondence on the database
  • Additional administrative tasks for the team, such as archiving, printing and couriering documents.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have administration experience in a fast-paced office.
  • Strong PC literacy with knowledge of electronic diary management
  • Experience of working to the Data Protection act, understanding confidentiality and working to policies and procedure effectively
  • High attention to detail with experience of handling large volumes of data/documents
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence in liaising with various levels of stakeholders, adapting your approach accordingly
  • Proven experience of working well in a team as well as self-motivated to work from home with minimal supervision.
  • Experience of working to deadlines and managing your own workload to prioritise tasks with changing demands
  • Customer focused with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and external parties.
  • Experience or knowledge within the legal environment is beneficial but not essential.
