A leading and rapidly expanding law firm is looking to recruit two Paralegals to join its highly regarded Catastrophic Injury team in Manchester. The Roles:
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside leading experts in catastrophic injury litigation and learn from senior team members. You will be supporting a team of highly skilled professionals with a diverse caseload, gaining hands-on experience with complex injury claims.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting witness statements
- Attending conferences with counsel and experts, taking detailed notes
- Preparing court documents
- Obtaining and reviewing client records
- Analyzing and reviewing medical reports
- Conducting legal research on liability and damages
- Liaising with clients and providing case updates
- Preparing instructions for medical experts and counsel
- Assisting with the preparation of court bundles
- Managing billing and disbursement processes
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience with Personal Injury and catastrophic injury claims is essential
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities
- Excellent client care and communication skills, demonstrating empathy
- Strong academic background
- Experience with case management systems such as Proclaim is beneficial but not required

These roles will initially be office-based during a settling-in period, after which there will be an option for hybrid working (up to 2 days per week remotely).
