A leading and rapidly expanding law firm is looking to recruit two Paralegals to join its highly regarded Catastrophic Injury team in Manchester. We have earned numerous accolades, including recognition in prestigious legal directories, for our outstanding client service and commitment to high-profile cases, particularly in brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and amputation claims.

The Roles:

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside leading experts in catastrophic injury litigation and learn from senior team members. You will be supporting a team of highly skilled professionals with a diverse caseload, gaining hands-on experience with complex injury claims.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting witness statements
  • Attending conferences with counsel and experts, taking detailed notes
  • Preparing court documents
  • Obtaining and reviewing client records
  • Analyzing and reviewing medical reports
  • Conducting legal research on liability and damages
  • Liaising with clients and providing case updates
  • Preparing instructions for medical experts and counsel
  • Assisting with the preparation of court bundles
  • Managing billing and disbursement processes

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience with Personal Injury and catastrophic injury claims is essential
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities
  • Excellent client care and communication skills, demonstrating empathy
  • Strong academic background
  • Experience with case management systems such as Proclaim is beneficial but not required
