Our client is recruiting a Senior Associate to join one of the largest and highly regarded Catastrophic Injury teams in the UK. This team specialises in high-value complex injury cases to include brain and spinal injury. The team represents prominent insurer clients in areas such as RTA and EL/PL claims.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support high-value personal injury cases with senior team members, progressing cases efficiently within client-specific service level agreements.
  • Develop client relationships and build a freestanding caseload.
  • Analyse case risk and make informed decisions for clients, balancing legal and commercial considerations.
  • Build strong business networks to contribute to the firm's broader direction.
  • Achieve both time recording and financial targets in alignment with team objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 6-7+ PQE
  • Strong academic background with a bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
  • Significant experience in Catastrophic Personal Injury work, defendant experience is advantageous.
  • Strong work ethic, team spirit, and a proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to their development.
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.
