Court of Protection Team – ParalegalLocation: ManchesterSector: Court of Protection Make a Real Difference with Your Legal Career Douglas Scott are working with a national law firm that are on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their Court of Protection team. In this unique role, you’ll support clients who lack the mental capacity to make decisions, helping them and their families navigate critical and sensitive matters. If you’re ready to make an impact while working in one of the most rewarding areas of law, this could be the perfect fit! What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Assisting solicitors with case management, including drafting correspondence, reports, and statements.
  • Handling property and affairs work, managing cash flow, arranging payments, and maintaining meticulous transaction records.
  • Acting as a key liaison with clients, families, medical professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders.
  • Preparing court applications and ensuring compliance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and SRA Code of Conduct.
