You’ll assess compliance, ensure financial integrity, and contribute to protecting the assets and reputation of the firm's stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits of panel law firms and litigation-funded cases.
  • Ensure compliance with SRA rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Protect funders’ assets through detailed risk and financial auditing.
  • Examine company accounts, ledgers, and disbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and verify financial reports and control systems.
  • Prepare detailed audit findings and present reports to management and clients.
  • Liaise with law firms post-audit to assist in corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with law firms, litigation funders, and internal teams.
  • Meet tight deadlines and adapt to urgent audit demands where needed.
  • Work collaboratively with a close-knit legal audit team.
About You:
  • Previous experience in auditing, legal compliance, or paralegal work preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal processes and terminology is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Confident with interpreting financial data and assessing risk.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
