Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, tracking data, liaising with clients, and ensuring the seamless operation of the team’s workload. This role is not a paralegal position, training contract, or an SQE route.**Key Responsibilities:**- Assist the M&A legal team with administrative workload management.- Prioritise tasks based on client needs.- Maintain the internal ticketing system via Trello.- Identify and flag workload distribution issues to senior management.- Track data and manage deal codes, ensuring accurate records and timely client follow-up.- Act as a point of contact for colleagues, fostering effective communication.- Collaborate to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.- Organise and maintain documentation and correspondence.**Essential Requirements:**- 2-3 years of experience in a legal administrative team, legal secretary, law firm, or project management role.- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.- Proactive and adaptable approach with a willingness to learn.- Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Experience in a legal or private equity environment.- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.**Work Environment:**This full-time role offers a competitive salary and requires working Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm.
