New Client Legal Administrator - Clinical Negligence Team

Salary - £23,500 +

A well-established Legal 500 firm is seeking a talented and dedicated New Client Liaison to join their Clinical Negligence team. This role reports to the Team Leader of the New Enquiries department. Initially, the position is based in the firm's headquarters for training, after which it offers the flexibility to work from home or continue at the office.This position provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding organisation, known for offering strong training and clear career development paths.   • Manage new enquiries from potential clients regarding clinical negligence cases.
  • Open and maintain case files, adhering to firm processes.
  • Gather comprehensive details from clients about their medical experiences.
  • Complete enquiry questionnaires with high attention to detail.
  • Work with the department head to assess the viability of claims.
  • Communicate with clients to inform them of claim outcomes and explain next steps or funding options if accepted.
  • Handle necessary documentation, including retainer agreements and client identification.
  • Request medical records and assist with legal insurance applications for clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure efficient communication and process management.

Key Skills

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a legal environment.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Comfortable with remote working and managing a flexible schedule.
  • Empathetic, able to build rapport with clients during challenging personal circumstances.
  • Proficient with IT and comfortable working in a digital, paperless environment.
  • Strong interest in Clinical Negligence and the legal field.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and seek guidance when needed.
