This is an office-based position, and it is ESSENTIAL that you have experience in the PROPERTY sector.

Paralegal Job Description:

As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our legal team by assisting with case preparation, legal research, and managing client files. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Paralegal Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Conduct legal research and summarise findings
  • Maintain and organize case files, including tracking deadlines and important dates
  • Communicate with clients and other stakeholders on case progress
  • Prepare trial exhibits and assist attorneys during trials
  • Draft correspondence, reports, and legal documents as required
  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars

Paralegal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or related field
  • Paralegal certification (preferred but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and legal research tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
