  • Handling enquiries from clients, solicitors, and other relevant parties.
  • Recording detailed attendance notes for all correspondence.
  • Opening and closing files, keeping them up-to-date with both electronic and hard copy correspondence, while ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and firm standards.
  • Providing administrative support, including tasks such as photocopying and scanning.
  • Drafting basic letters and preparing/submitting simple legal documents.
  • Completing legal forms, registering documents, and submitting applications to the Court.
  • Managing contact lists and calendars for fee earners.
  • Tracking and monitoring deadlines.
  • Conducting searches and registering Wills with Certainty.
  • Preparing and submitting bills to the finance team on behalf of fee earners.
  • Creating Estate Accounts using Excel.
  • Providing reception cover.
  • Preparing and handling banking and post tasks.
Is this the position for you?  
  • A solid understanding of the daily functions of a legal office
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with case management software
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Keen attention to detail
