A well-established freight forwarding company is seeking an experienced Airfreight Branch Manager for their new branch at Heathrow.
The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing imports and exports, and generating business to maximize profit.
Candidates should have experience in the freight forwarding industry, with previous imports experience being advantageous.
The position requires a commercially driven individual to ensure operational effectiveness and meet KPI and budgetary requirements.
Salary details are not specified, but candidates should have relevant experience and be available to work Monday to Friday from 08:30 am to 05:30 pm.

My client are a well established, expanding freight forwarding company looking for an experienced Airfreight Branch Manager to join their new start up branch based at Heathrow!

Daily duties will include:

Overseeing the Heathrow office ensuring operation is running smoothly
Hands on Imports and Exports
Generating new and existing business, maximising profit
Maintaining key accounts
Ensuring maximum operational effectively & efficiency across all aspects of the freight operations
Ensuring the Department is meeting KPI's & budgetary requirements
Managing branch performance, holidays and disciplinary
Overseeing the Health and safety
Maintain the warehouse operation

Experience needed:

Experience in the freight forwarding industry
Previous imports experience is advantageous
Commercially driven

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 08.30am - 17.30pm
