Our client are a reputable construction company based in Manchester who are looking for a Compliance Assistant to join their team! This will be a key role for the business ensuring projects are being delivered in line with company processes and legislation.

Their ideal candidate:

  • Will have previously worked in the construction industry.
  • Background working in a compliance related role.
  • Organised individual who can work on their own initiative in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Will be happy to travel to sites across Manchester and to the head office in Greater Manchester.

Duties include:

  • Tracking and reporting project compliance ensuring a project is handed over successfully.
  • Organising compliance workshops for site teams.
  • Updating and maintaining the compliance tracker.
  • Reviewing and updating building controls and warranty trackers.
  • Visiting sites for project handover meetings.
  • Supporting quality assurance around fire doors ensuring standards are met.
  • Assist the team with Golden Thread information for all sites ensuring everything is documented correctly throughout each stage of the project.
  • Coordinating O&M manuals.
  • Carrying out compliance inspections and audits.
  • Document control- quality checking information uploaded and coordinating the information uploaded by them.
