The General Manager will be working for a fast growing retail business headquartered in Manchester looking to grow is traditional retail and ecommerce operations
Description
- Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department
- Drive the development and implementation of strategic plans
- Manage budgets and introduce metrics to drive the operations side of the business
- Ensure compliance with regulations and advise the business on supply chain best practice
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing logistics team
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise processes
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
- Stay informed about industry standards and implement improvements for the business
Profile
A successful General Manager will have:
- Working experience as a leader within the Logistics experience
- Ecommerce and/or retail industry experience is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of introducing logistics and supply chain processes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Job Offer
- A competitive salary in the region of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
