The Logistics Co-ordinator will oversee all aspects of import and export operations, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with suppliers, particularly in China.

This role is critical for managing shipping logistics, processing necessary documentation and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all logistics functions related to the import and export of products, ensuring efficient and timely movement from suppliers to customers.
  • Process and maintain all shipping documents, including Certificates of Origin, and ensure accuracy in invoicing for shipping and payments.
  • Organise and book shipments, prioritising airfreight to various customers and overseeing imports from China.
  • Enter booking details on customer portals, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Construct shipping consignments and liaise with customers to confirm shipment details and timelines.
  • Follow up with suppliers in China to obtain packing lists and ensure all necessary information is received for smooth processing.
  • Create Carnets for exhibitions and manage logistics requirements associated with such events.
  • Anticipate potential issues with stock leaving factories and communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve challenges.
  • Liaise with key managers and departments to maintain and implement relevant import activities effectively.
  • Stay informed about changes in documentation, legal requirements, or any other factors impacting logistics operations and adjust procedures accordingly.
  • Monitor and update shipping rates in the system to ensure accurate costings and budget adherence.
  • Undertake any other duties as required to support the logistics team and the overall operations of the company.
