Are you an experienced Operations Manager with experience in freight looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations and maintaining efficiency. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team, providing guidance and support to achieve operational goals.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
  • Monitor and improve operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Efficiently manage resources to meet operational requirements and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Foster excellent internal relationships with managers at all levels, promoting collaboration and understanding between departments.
  • Liaise with other departments to streamline operations and ensure seamless coordination.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the freight forwarding industry with up to date knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading teams, with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach.
  • Knowledge of operations procedures and best practises, with a track record of implementing successful strategies.
