Transport and Production Co-ordinator

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Newton Heath who are looking for an experienced Transport Co-ordinator to join their expanding team.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience and competency in Transport Co-ordination and/or Planning - open to all industries.
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge on Microsfot packages, primarility in Excel and PowePoint
  • Must have previous work experience using SAGE Accounts.
  • Strong communication skills, both vocal and written
  • Confidence and comfort in having B2B conversations and providing a high level of customer service
  • Ability to follow procedures
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent time keep and attendance.

The Role:

  • Planning day to day routes for drivers
  • Communicating with production, drivers and customers
  • General administration including; Site paperwork, drivers records including working hours,
  • Transport maintenance and weekly checks of the fleet
  • Processing deliveries and collections via the database.
  • Pairing up collections from various locations
  • Organising 3rd party haulage when required.
  • Organising product transfer between second site
  • Monthly customer reporting
  • Working alongside a supporting and friendly team

Hours of Work: Full time, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm
