We are working with a global manufacturing business based in North Manchester who are looking to expand their Demand Planning team, they are operating at a world class standard across their supply chain function and are looking for someone who wants to embed themselves in a lean, process driven team.
Demand Planner - The Job:
- Continuously reviews the Sales/Production forecast of defined portfolio of a country or a group of countries on short, mid, and long term, in quantity and value.
- Orders items from production sites, suppliers, and co-packers, and follows up deliveries in order to fulfil the sales/production plan in timing and quantities.
- Communicates, manages, and solves actual and potential supply issues.
- Maintains and periodically reviews planning master data in SAP and IPB to implement adequate forecasting model, replenishment, and stock strategies.
- Responsible to achieve agreed SFD, stock levels and CSL, monitors ICSL, SSL for the defined portfolio.
- Coordinates co-packing activities with main focus on availability, saving costs, production schedule and raw material replenishment.
- Ensures the sales forecast input from other department is on time and accurate (promotions, launches, delisting)
- Continuously improves operational efficiency (process improvements, new SCM solutions, support to central tenders).

Demand Planner - Expected Experience:
- Professional training in business administration or comparable and at least 5 years’ experience in SCM functions.
- 2 years’ experience in Demand planning in consumer goods company or B2B is a plus
- Excel mastery
- Knowledge in SAP, IBP and BI
- Excellent verbal skills
- Good user knowledge in MS-Office
- Basic financial knowledge
