The Maintenance Engineer’s position is commutable from the following locations: Hyde / Manchester / Ashton-under-Lyne / Salford / Stretford / Denton
The Maintenance Engineer will be required to work the following shift:
- Days: Sunday 8am till 16:30 / Monday 6am till 6:30pm / Tuesday 6am till 6:30pm / Thursday 8am till 6:30pm
- Off Days: Wednesday / Friday / Saturday.

Duties and requirements the Maintenance engineer will hold and be responsible for:
- Previous experience within a Heavy Manufacturing Environment
- Proven experience within a Similar Role, Conducting Mechanical repairs
- Experience with Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Gearboxes, Conveyor systems, Granulators, Lifting equipment.
- Welding and Fabrication abilities
- Carry out essential maintenance on all aspects of the production lines.
- Work through a programme of PPM and helping develop the agility maintenance system.
- Improve factory OEE through development and innovation of the production facility.
- Order and Collect Spare Mechanical materials.
- Maintain and monitor the machines and Equipment.
- Ensure that all plant and machinery s kept in good working condition.
Qualification the Maintenance Engineer will hold:
- Apprenticeship Trained
- BTEC ONC & BTEC HNC Mechanical engineering
