Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Uptime: Ensure CHRA and VSR equipment runs efficiently for all production processes.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve daily production downtimes with engineering solutions.
- OEE Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve equipment availability, performance, and quality.
- Support NPI: Assist with NPI testing, following APQP, PEP, and PPAP processes.
- Documentation: Support creation of operator and production set-up sheets.
- Process Improvements: Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and Kaizen.
- Compliance: Follow Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
- Procurement: Oversee procurement of equipment and tooling, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Skills & Experience:
- Essential: Degree in Engineering, experience in manufacturing, and knowledge of PLC, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Desirable: Tooling design, Six Sigma Greenbelt (Black Belt/Lean Expert preferred), IOSH safety qualification.
- Experience: Automotive industry experience and leadership experience preferred.
