Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Manchester (3-Shift)
A leading well established Engineering Company is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based at their site in Trafford Park. The role will be working a mixed shift of days and nights, working 37 hours per week on a 3 shift rotating pattern.
You will be providing mechanical breakdown cover on plant equipment, fault finding and repair of production machines. You will be involved in identifying and leading improvements to processes, working as a team and assisting with breakdown and repair work. Identifying faults and accurately reporting on CMMS system.
What they are looking for;
- Able to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic drawings.
- Good fault finding skills as well as good IT skills
- Time served/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Level 3 qualifications
- Previous experience working in a heavy industrial environment
- Experience with a CMMS is highly desirable but training will be provided
- Knowledge of Siemens 840C / 840D control systems would be advantageous
- Experience with CNC lathes, machining centres would be advantageous
The role offers salary circa 40,000 - 44,000 plus overtime. 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holiday days, Contributory pension scheme, Healthcare scheme and other excellent benefits.
