We are now seeking an experienced mobile based multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join our busy commercial building maintenance team, to undertake planned and reactive maintenance works at our clients premises.
About the role
This is a mobile based role which involves travelling throughout the Manchester, Liverpool and Chester areas. The role is supported from our Elland regional office and includes working on a varied portfolio of commercial buildings as a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer. Your responsibilities will include:
You will be responsible for efficiently delivering PPM and reactive maintenance, including fault finding, repair and installation of mechanical/electrical and HVAC services
Complete all paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Be proactive, use your initiative and take ownership of situations
Ensure all work carried out is done so within the H&S requirements
Your remuneration
The role is full time, Mon Fri, working 40 hours per week

Starting salary circa £40K plus overtime payment

About you
Having succeeded in a similar role, youll have relevant professional qualifications and youll be proactive, self-motivated, work equally well independently and as part of the wider team, and be able to build and maintain relationships across the organisation and with our customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold a formal qualification within Mechanical or Electrical (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND or similar).
Experience of working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance engineer
HVAC experience would be an advantage
Good technical knowledge as well as the ability to multi-task
Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to deadlines
Ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative
Ability to work from instruction and make decisions as needed with minimal supervision.
Friendly and approachable nature with great communication skills (including written)
Great attention to detail with excellent time management skills
