A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join the team at a successful food manufacturing company in Greater Manchester.
Tasks
- Reactive, planned and pro-active maintenance on a wide range of process plant and equipment
- Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repair
- Route Cause Analysis (RCA) and improvement projects to reduce downtime
- Planned and reliability maintenance tasks
- PLC fault finding
- Monitor, update and improve planned maintenance system
- Support continuous improvement activities
Key requirements:
- Recognised Electrical Engineering OR Multi-skilled apprenticeship min HNC or equivalent
- Experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance in a regulated, manufacturing environment
- Excellent fault finding / diagnostic skills, knowledge of PLCs, motors, inverter drives
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Able to work autonomously and prioritise own workload
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, route cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques
- Pro-active and professional approach

Salary: 43,410.76 + 24.3% shift allowance
