Office Assistant
Location: Manchester-Office-Based, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMSalary: Circa £24,000 per annumHoliday: 25 days plus bank holidays
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, office-based role where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of financial and administrative duties that require precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Bank Account Management: Open and close bank accounts as required, ensuring all procedures are correctly followed.
- Bank Reconciliations: Accurately reconcile bank accounts to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Transaction Processing: Handle the processing of financial transactions with a high level of accuracy.
- Receipts & Journals: Record and manage receipts and journal entries efficiently.
- Invoice Management: Raise and issue invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- VAT Returns: Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with regulations.
- Bank Correspondence: Liaise professionally with banks to address queries and resolve issues.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide general administrative support as needed to facilitate smooth office operations.
- Proven experience in a role requiring meticulous attention to detail, ideally within a finance or administrative capacity.
- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Effective communication skills for internal and external correspondence.
