The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Manufacturing Project Manager?
- Support Programme Managers and Manufacturing Management to deliver projects/contracts on time and within budget.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including internal customers, to ensure project progress is accurately reported and any issues are communicated back to manufacturing.
- Plan, facilitate, and provide ongoing support to large-scale contracts throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including key subcontractors.
- Ensure accurate project performance reporting and communicate project/programme requirements to cross-functional teams to meet delivery targets.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining risk and opportunity plans/budgets for contracts.
- Play a key role in tendering and bidding activities to support future business acquisition.
What are we looking for in our next Manufacturing Project Manager?
- A proven Project Manager with experience delivering fixed-cost programmes of significant value in a matrix organisation, ideally within an engineering or production environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and drive multi-functional teams to meet tight deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and tenacious, with the ability to prioritise both strategic and day-to-day operational needs.
- Experience in applying project management skills at an assistant level in a relevant business environment.
