Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager (Construction)
Location: Greater Manchester, with site visits nationwide
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Salary: Circa £60,000 + Company car / fuel card

The company is now seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to ensure all construction projects meet rigorous quality standards, regulatory compliance, and client specifications. This role will be based at their headquarters with regular site visits across the UK where you may have to stay away in accommodation if needed with all costs covered RE allowances / food ect

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance protocols across all construction projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory and client requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and collaborate with project teams to address any quality issues.
  • Review and approve materials and workmanship standards, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to site teams, reinforcing best practices in quality management.
  • Prepare comprehensive quality reports for senior management, identifying key areas for improvement.
  • Maintain all documentation related to quality assurance, including inspection reports and compliance certificates.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, and lead improvements in quality processes to meet evolving industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in construction quality assurance.
  • Proficiency with quality management software and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with proven leadership experience.
  • Certification in Quality Management is advantageous.
