Role: General Manager Stunning destination Restaurant
Location: Manchester
Salary/package: Up to £40k per annum + Performance Bonus
We are recruiting a General Manager to lead a stunning high quality destination experience restaurant in Manchester city centre. This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of Manchesters most desirable on trend restaurants, with exceptional food and a stunning interior.
This role is an operational General Manager role, where you will lead your team from the front, offering training and development and working closely with the Head Chef and Bar Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring the front of house and back of house teams all work together to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Ensure as General Manager you drive restaurant sales and encourage your team to achieve targets.
- Lead your team to achieve high customer feedback scores across all platforms
- Recruitment, training and development of your team, with a key focus on the front of house team / restaurant service and standards.
- Responsible for controlling stocks, overseeing stock takes, monitoring wastage and labour controls.
- Managing team rotas, holidays and absences.
- Ensure compliance with policies and industry regulations.
The Candidate we are looking for:
- General Manager or Deputy / Assistant General Manager experience in a high-quality restaurant operation is essential
- Solid experience and passion for training and developing a team, showing excellent people skills, leadership and communication.
- You will have high attention to detail, be highly organised and able to work under pressure in a busy operation.
- You will enjoy being customer facing and operational, be a great team player whilst showing authority and direction gaining the respect of your team.
