Description
The Maintenance Manager will lead of team of c. 15 engineers and technicians and will report directly into the Site Engineering Manager. They will:
- Oversee and manage all maintenance operations in the plant
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve plant efficiency and reliability
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to minimise downtime
- Implement preventative maintenance programs
- Engage in and drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance
Profile
The successful Maintenance Manager will possess a range of the following:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and maintenance best practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in using maintenance software and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Drive and self motivation
- Strong CI/lean toolkit
- Degree in Engineering or a related field (advantageous)
