A Site EngineeringManager with experience of leading a team of multi-skilled engineers, maintaining automated warehousing, intralogistics technology, is required for a fast paced automated facility.
The position of Site Engineering Manager will include:
- Maintain a range of automated intralogistics, material handling machinery, consisting of conveyors, robotics, palletising equipment, high bay storage & retrieval systems and automated picking/packing systems.
- Drive a proactive and reactive maintenance program, coaching and mentoring the team to achieve the goals.
- Deliver an effective service, in line with service level agreements.
- Engage with site teams and make suggestions as to investment in new advanced material handling technology.
- Conduct regular performance management reviews.
- Able to understand teams’ strengths and weaknesses.
- Ability to lead a productive team, at times, under high pressure.
The suitable candidate for the Site Engineering Manager will need to possess the following experience:
- Experience of leading multi-skilled maintenance engineers, maintaining a range of automated electro-mechanical equipment.
- knowledge of automated material handling equipment such as conveyors, material handling systems is highly advantageous.
- Working at height and safety is desirable or the willingness to enrol on a course.
- Technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is highly desirable, or suitable time served experience.
