Shift Pattern/Hours: 12 on, 2 off / 12-hour shifts / mixture of days & nights / 60hr weeks.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CIS Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our shop fitting projects across various locations nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and site management, with a specific focus on shop fitting with preferably food and beverage and hospitality experience. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage subcontractors ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Salary is competitive.

 

Most of there work is across the leisure & Hospitality clients such as Greggs, Pizza Express, KFC, Starbucks, Cineworld, Mowgli, Costa Coffee

 

Project Management:

        •       Plan, coordinate, and supervise all site activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction.

        •       Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource allocation and timelines.

        •       Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and preventing cost overruns.

        2.      Team Leadership:

        •       Lead and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.

        •       Conduct regular site meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.

        •       Promote a safe and positive working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

        3.      Quality Control:

        •       Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard, adhering to design specifications and quality standards.

        •       Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any quality issues promptly.

        •       Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, progress reports, and photographic evidence.

Client Communication:

        •       Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or queries.

        •       Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within the agreed specifications.

        •       Foster and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

        5.      Problem Solving:

        •       Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

        •       Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.

        •       Adapt to changing project requirements and provide innovative solutions to challenges.

Qualifications

        •       Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management, with a focus on shop fitting or interior fitouts. With background in hospitality and food and beverage sectors.

        •       Certifications required: current certificates required to be considered – SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness, PASMA, IPAF, CSCS Black card.

Skills and Competencies:

        •       Strong leadership and team management skills.

        •       Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

        •       Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

        •       Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.

        •       Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

        •       Willingness to travel nationwide and work flexible hours as required (weekend and night working will be required).

Physical Requirements:

        •       Ability to work on-site in various conditions, including exposure to heights, noise, and construction materials.

        •       Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed.
