Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Site Manager to join a growing, innovative company based in the Northwest. The role will involve managing commercial and retail fitout projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and leading teams on site. The successful candidate will have a solid background in Site Management, ideally within commercial office or retail fitouts, and be comfortable taking charge to drive projects forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage subcontractors and coordinate day-to-day site operations
Conduct Health & Safety inspections, including regular site assessments
Organise and lead site inductions and risk assessments for new staff
Oversee labour management and monitor project progress to meet deadlines
Communicate effectively with middle management and stakeholders through regular reports and updates
Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally
Ensure projects are completed to the highest quality standards with particular attention to high-end finishes
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, with a typical project value ranging from 500k to 2.5 million
Candidate Profile:
A passionate Site Manager with experience in commercial office fitouts or retail fitouts
Trade or educational background in construction; university background is also valued
Strong experience in managing large-format projects with a focus on high-quality finishes
Able to act as the "number one" on site, driving the project forward and meeting deadlines
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Work Hours:
Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though flexibility is required depending on project needs and workloads
