As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, managing the installation of dry lining and partitioning systems, and ensuring the successful completion of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dry lining and partitioning, with extensive experience using Fermacell.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and tradesmen on-site, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring the project stays on schedule and within budget.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and contractors, to ensure clear communication and resolution of any issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure the work meets the required standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team, particularly in the installation of Fermacell materials for dry lining and partitioning.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry, with a focus on dry lining and partitioning.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Fermacell materials.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects successfully.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- CSCS card (preferably Site Manager level) and First Aid certification (desirable).
