Ionic Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Freelance Site Manager in Manchester.
Our client is a respected fit-out contractor delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors, with a primary focus on office fit-outs. They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of fit-out projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.

Role Overview:
As a Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for site operations, ensuring all aspects of the fit-out process run smoothly. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and uphold health & safety standards while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing office fit-out projects from start to finish.
- Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
- Implementing and enforcing health & safety procedures on-site.
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring quality control at all stages.
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and reporting progress to senior management.
- Problem-solving and addressing any site-related issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the fit-out sector, particularly with office projects.
- Strong knowledge of site management, health & safety regulations, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant industry qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid preferred).
Salary & Benefits:
- 50,000 - 55,000 per annum (Freelance rates available).
