Site manager required in Manchester

Site manager required in Manchester for a new build educational building for one of the UK's leading DFE contractors. This is a full cycle project including all remedial works, general build and internal finishes all being brought to the clients high specification. The ideal candidate will have experience working for principle contractors on the DFE framework, full cycle construction experience and has worked on project values above 15m.

The Role

Managing assistant site managers, coordinating trades and materials.

Reporting to the Project Manager

Controlling quality of works, from sub contractors.

Site inductions & Toolbox talks.

Working at a fast pace against a programme.

Monitoring Health and safety, and ensuring a high level of health and safety is maintained on site.

Skills and Experience

Experience in managing the full life cycle of building projects valued of at least 15 million

Previous experience delivering projects within the DFE framework

keen eye for detail, Provide quick and effective solutions along with being a good communicator

CSCS, SMSTS, First aid + a trade background
