As a Marketing Assistant, you will report to the Business Development Manager. You will collaborate with various teams to build the firm's profile among target groups in the Midlands and Northwest.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing an understanding of the firm's clients and markets
  • Planning, managing, and attending events, conferences, webinars, and seminars
  • Assisting with sourcing information for press releases and curating regional social media posts
  • Leading the execution of new initiatives and campaigns, including producing digital and printed materials
  • Supporting the Business Development Manager in implementing marketing plans
  • Coordinating legal directory submissions and interviews
  • Managing budgets, diaries, travel, and expenses
  • Contributing to bids, pitches, and capability statements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CIM qualifications or a desire to study towards CIM or equivalent
  • 12-18 months of marketing experience in a professional service or equivalent B2B environment
  • Excellent IT skills and competency, with an interest in digital/social media
  • Flexibility to work outside office hours, particularly when running events
  • Experience attending networking events and confidence in liaising with partners, managers, fee earners, and other stakeholders

Additionally, you should possess:
