The company
My client are a highly regarded food manufacturing PLC. The business operates across the UK from several, well invested manufacturing facilities, delivering a fantastic range of premium products.
As part of their continued growth, they now seek to appoint a Multi Skilled Engineer at their site based in Greater Manchester.
The Role
Reporting into the Site Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.
The person
You will have a broad knowledge of automation, mechanical and electrical systems used ideally in the food industry and be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including conveyors, VFFS bagging machines and multiheaded weighers. A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally electrically bias would be advantageous.
