Job Title: Care Assistant

Salary: 12.50 - 14.00 per hour
Full-time/Part-time: Agency Adhoc Shifts

Role Overview:
As a Care Assistant, you will assist individuals with daily routines, promote their emotional and social development, and support their independence in a safe, nurturing environment. You will work as part of a team to ensure the wellbeing, safety, and progress of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, support, and daily assistance to individuals.
- Assist with mealtimes, activities, and personal hygiene.
- Encourage positive behavior, independence, and life skills.
- Work closely with the care team to implement care plans and meet individual needs.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of individuals, following safeguarding protocols.
- Build supportive, trusting relationships with those in care, promoting their emotional wellbeing.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 12 months of experience in a residential care setting (desirable).
- NVQ in Health & Social Care, Care Certificate, or equivalent.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to support individuals with varying needs.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safeguarding and care protocols.
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive team player.
- A passion for helping vulnerable individuals achieve their potential.
