Job Title: Mobile Building Services Engineer
Location: Manchester, UK
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Salary: Up to £42,000 (Basic)
Role Overview
As a Mobile Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of building systems across multiple sites in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with an electrical bias who is looking to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Perform general building maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems support.
- Diagnose and repair faults in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all work is carried out to meet relevant legislation, codes of practice, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with clients and site teams to provide excellent service and uphold company standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in building services or facilities maintenance roles.
- Electrical bias with relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, 18th Edition, or equivalent).
- Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems (desirable).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
