- Candidates should ideally have service experience in the compressed air industry or significant electromechanical experience in refrigeration, along with relevant certifications such as FGas.
- The position requires proven diagnostic skills on complex electrical and mechanical systems, with a strong understanding of three-phase electrics and controls being advantageous.
- The salary package ranges from £36,000 to £40,000, with an on-target earning potential of over £55,000, alongside benefits including a company van, 25 days of holiday, and a pension scheme.
- Candidates are expected to have a background as a Field Service Engineer or similar, with a willingness to travel within the specified regions.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites, covering The Midlands and parts of the North UK.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a service experience in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience in refrigeration with FGas certification, air filtration, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, compressed air vacuum systems, or similar associated compressor products. Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites covering The Midlands and parts of the North UK.
The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and downstream products.
Maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment.
Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems, ideally compressed air related products.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar with compressed air experience.
Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
Service experience in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience in refrigeration with FGas certification, air filtration, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, or similar associated compressor products.
A technical engineering degree or apprentice trained would be advantageous.
Willingness to travel and cover the Midlands and parts of the North UK.
